Welcome at Hilly at work
For thousands of years, people have been making utensils out of clay. Infinite variations in objects and shapes still make it one of the most fascinating materials to work with today. Since taking my first seat behind the wheel in 2015, I have been captivated by the purity of the material and the beauty of the objects. By experimenting with different glazes, a “Hilly style” quickly emerged.
For me, in ceramics my education and work experience come together. During my education at the TeHeTex and the Academy of Industrial Design, the basis for material knowledge and proportions emerged. And my work as a stylist taught me my sense of color and space. I now apply this daily, always seeking and pushing the boundaries of clay and glazes.
